About Us
HVM Racing has a long history of names and drivers, but all have had the common goal of winning. Now in its fourth season in the IndyCar Series, HVM is building on its past successes to become the team to beat.
2010 Taking a new approach in 2010, HVM ran a car in both the IZOD IndyCar Series and the Firestone Indy Lights Championships with exciting new drivers. Simona De Silvestro made her IndyCar debut behind the wheel of the Stargate Worlds #78 IndyCar following a highly successful Formula Atlantic season in 2009. Junior Strous, with two 2009 Indy Lights wins competed in the full season for HVM in the #6 Shell Indy Lights car.
2009 For HVM's second year in the Indy Racing League, driver EJ Viso returned for the full swason and the team adde a second car for returning HVM driver, Robert Doornbos, in the Mid Ohio throught Homestead races.
2008 HVM's inaugural year in the IRL. With rookie driver EJ Viso behind the wheel, the team scores seven top-10 finishes, including a season-best fourth-place finish at St. Petersberg, and finishes 18th in the championship standings.
